Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at twenty-three Jené made her way to New York City. She studied at Parsons School of Design, The Heatherley School of Fine Art in London, and New York School of Interior Design (NYSID).

For over fifteen years she has worked as a designer in New York City and surrounding areas, collaborating with clients in creating beautiful and inspiring interiors.
